They call New York a "melting pot" of cultures, ideas, opinions, traditions, and so on, and that's very true! A melting pot is usually hot though, and New York is anything but hot right now. I wonder if that white witch from the C.S. Lewis book about Narnia is driving around the streets of Manhattan in a yellow cab and turning everything into winter?
